Smoochie’s Life Is A Risk If We Can’t Get Her The Help She Needs Soon
Smoochie’s kidneys are not functioning correctly which is troubling as she is so young. The vet tells us that it is critical that she have an ultrasound as soon as possible because thus could help us discovery why her kidneys functions are so poor. The longer we wait the more likely her kidneys will be permanently damaged dramatically shortening her life. Sadly the ultrasound is expensive. Please please help us help Smoochie. Time is not on our side
One night Smoochie vomited and then collapsed. Was it a seizure? We still don't know. Luckily Smoochie recovered. But Smoochie's health travails continue. Smoochie's story may not be as heart rendering or dramatic as others. Nonetheless, the stakes for this goofy, good natured dog are high.
Bloodwork done after Smoochie's crisis revealed that her kidney levels were disturbingly low. Why are the kidneys of this young dog not functionally correctly? Could it be an infection? To help Smoochie and anwer these questions we need your help. Without funding, we can't cover the cost of the long course of antibiotics Smoochie needs nor the diagnostic testing to come.
