Purpose for You, Hope for Them

From 2004 to 2016, the amount of adoptions in the United States  decreased by 76%; only 3% of children who age out of the foster system without adoption receive further education; 50% of orphaned girls  become pregnant by age 21; 20% will be homeless. These children become statistics. However, it is these same statistics which Orphan World Relief wishes to overcome. OWR lives by the idea that "every child has value and worth." Experiencing the needs of orphans first hand, founder Doug Riggle hoped to enhance the unfortunate situations of these beloved children; our mission is to further that cause with your help. Collected cardboard boxes and metal cans from local schools, offices, stores, and neighbors, will be given to our sponsor Caraustar Recycling Group localized in Columbus, OH,  in turn for money which will go directly towards the Orphan World Relief. Doing so, our community will globally benefit children in need meanwhile serving our environment by re-purposing the waste.
