Shiree's fundraiser for Beacon House

As a staff member at Beacon House, i see firsthand the impact our programs have on the children we serve.  While we are closed due to the pandemic our work continues.  We are helping children of color overcome their circumstances and giving them a foundation for a future where they can make a living wage -- not be tax takers, but instead be tax payers. 

These children just need support, encouragement and to be held to high standard/expectation in order to do well in school.  We all know school isn't everything when it comes to success.  There are those exceptional stories of wealthy entrepreneurs that dropped out and made millions. They are exceptions though.  

At Beacon House, everyone is focused on our children's well-being and success.
