In Georgia, 22% of children under the age of 3 live in families earning less than 100% of the federal poverty level, and according to nonprofit Helping Mamas, 1 in 3 families experience diaper need.
During Diaper Awareness Week, the 11Alive mamas are working with our community to raise funds for needed diapers and baby supplies. Helping Mamas has served over 200,000 babies in need across Georgia by providing 3 million in essential baby items.
