Kinzler Foundation Family 5K

Families of the Jason Kinzler Family First Foundation will be banding together on Saturday May 12th, 2018 to participate in the Fifth Third Riverbank Walk/Run. We will be walking and running as a Kinzler community, bound together by each of our own stories that lead us to be connected to the Foundation. We will be participating to: 

       (1) Raise awareness of the mission of the Kinzler Foundation, which provides financial assistance to families with minor children who have experienced the unexpected loss of a primary caregiver. 

      (2) Raise funds to support the Foundation and "pay it forward" to help other families caught in similar situations of tragic and unexpected loss of a parent or caregiver

      (3) Further create a community of survivors, connecting families who each have struggled with losing someone and all of the hardships that come out of those terrible situations. There is a true connection of hearts when another has a similar, shared experience of tragedy, and those connections and friendships of support provide an invaluable outlet and connecting point between our families.

To date, the Foundation has given out more than $300,000 of financial assistance to families across West Michigan.  Our goal this year is to help Team Kinzler raise $25,000 to help more families that encounter tragedy.
