Helping Hands/ Single Moms Succeed program

Mommy and Me is dedicated to  the betterment of single mom households. Specifically, those families that are under resourced and need it the most. Our intent is not to just put a band aid over the issue with temporary assistance. It is to provide support that will help prevent homelessness and falling into poverty, empower those mothers to confidently make life changing decisions, for their families and their selves that leads to sustainability. We will do this through our two new programs Helping Hands and Single Moms Succeed (SMS). Our Helping Hands  program is designed to provide temporary assistance. This is for single mothers who may just need a little assistance to get them by. SMS is a tailored program to fit each families needs. The purpose of this program is to prevent families from falling into poverty and to lessen the need for government assistance. This program runs for the duration of 3 months, 6 months and 12 months, depending on the families need. Recipients of the SMS program are required to attend one of our three betterment classes that includes, entrepreneurship workshop, financial empowerment workshop, job readiness programs or the single mom support group. Here, all donations will be used to help the emotional, financial and physical needs of of our families.
