Girl & Boy of the Year OTSC Fundraiser

Meet Triniti Scott and Malik Matthews - Girl and Boy of the Year at Off The Street Club!

Triniti is a very bright and intelligent young girl who is on the A Honor Roll at her high school. The kids and staff at the Club admire Trin for her compassion to help others. For the past two years, Triniti has been an enthusiastic and quite popular Camp Counselor at Off The Street Club’s camp, Camp Mathieu. 

Trin’s infectious personality and warm smile were the primary campaign tools that helped her get elected Girl of The Year. She has been a member of Off The Street Club for five years. She is involved in various programs at the Club, OTSC’s Teen Club, the Time To Excel tutoring program, the Choir, the Computer Lab’s coding programs, and, of course, she loves spending her summers at OTSC’s summer camp.

Triniti is looking forward to graduating out of high school this year and getting her college career started at Lake Forest College. Trin says she couldn’t be prouder to represent Off The Street Club as its newly elected 2020 Girl of the Year.  

Malik has been a member of Off The Street Club since age 5. For many years he dreamed of becoming Off The Street Club’s Boy of the Year! Along with achieving that dream, Malik has grown into a shining role model for all of the boys and girls at the Club.

Malik is an enthusiastic, outgoing 17-year-old who gets a thrill out of skateboarding to Off The Street Club every day after school.   He loves to tutor the primary grade students in the Club’s homework help program. Malik is learning to play the bass guitar in OTSC’s Jazzmasters Workshop class. He’s taking up culinary arts at his high school. Malik wants to become a world-renown Chef. 

Malik gave a speech recently at an Off The Street Club event, and he said, “Off The Street Club truly changed his life.”
