On days where the future of our country seems scary and uncertain, it is the resilience, fierceness, and unwavering commitment of young change makers who bring me a glimmer of hope. I'm humbled and proud to be the Board Chair of Californians for Justice, and am excited to invite you to invest in their inspiring work.

Social change is most often made because of the brilliance and bravery of youth leaders who can imagine and know they deserve something better. Young people are the exact leaders we need to create the healthy, just and vibrant schools and communities every Californian should and can have. We have the abundance, generosity and creativity it takes to make schools that truly serve all students, especially if we follow the lead of our youth.

Our amazing team of youth organizers and staff advocates have a huge opportunity over the next 13 months as they turn out young voters of color for the 2020 election with a special focus on passing Schools and Communities First- a ballot proposition which will restore $11 billion into our public schools by closing commercial property tax loopholes created by Prop 13.

Between now and November 3rd (one year from election day), I'm aiming to raise $1800 for Californians for Justice to make sure our team of youth organizers has everything they need to lead and win in 2020. Are you in it to win it with youth in 2020?
