Quake and Nami had owners but they left them behind when their house crumbled and we had to take them in. Quickly. There is literally no place for dogs like them to go if they cannot travel with their owners. We are desperate to move cuties like this off the island to make space for more before they are turned out on the streets to face a life without food and potable water, vet care and love.
