VOYAGERS

"VOYAGERS" is the first known production of its kind: a live musical theatre, full-dome planetarium experience based on NASA's Voyager mission. With memorable characters and original songs about planetary science, space exploration and aeronautical adventure, this original musical will take you on the grand tour of the outer solar system in an immersive planetarium environment. 

This production is a collaboration between Minnesota-based educational theatre company Matheatre and University of Colorado Boulder's Fiske Planetarium. Through grants, sponsorships and individual donations, we need to raise $20,000 to fund the creation of original animations and production support for the world premier hosted by Fiske Planetarium in March, 2020. Fiske is fronting over 100 hours of professional animator time and use of their world-class planetarium facility for rehearsals and performances, as well as additional production support to create an original production that will inspire students and the public worldwide with curiosity about the cosmos. While Matheatre will continue to tour this production to planetaria around the world, we need support for Fiske's upfront investment now. All funds raised during this year's Give to the Max will directly support this production.
