THAP's Give OUT Day Fundraiser

Trans Housing Atlanta Program began in 2014 from a series of town-hall meetings of the transgender and gender non-binary community of metro Atlanta to develop a response to the problem of members of our community experiencing homelessness at alarming rates, along with unemployment and discrimination. Since then, we've assisted hundreds of trans and gender non-binary folks to keep the housing they have, get off the streets and into a safe and dry bed, and to move toward self-sufficiency. A crucial component of our strategic plan is buying housing that would be owned by the community. To this end, we started a capital campaign with a current goal of $150,000.00, and WE'RE ALMOST THERE, Y'ALL! Of course, the prices of housing are going through the roof right now, which is disproportionately affects trans and gender non-conforming folks, so every contribution you make will help us get closer to having cooperative, community-owned housing. Giving during the month of June will also help us move up the leaderboard of LGBTQI+ organizations and make us eligible for more prizes, which we in turn can give back to the community.
