World Spay Day brings needed attention to the importance of sterilizing animals so that fewer end up homeless and suffering. Homeward Trails is acknowledging this day by raising funds for our spay and neuter work both here and in Puerto Rico. In 2020, Homeward Trails put more than $150,000 on spay and neuter. This year World Spay Day is February 23rd!
This year, we are aiming to raise $8,500 towards our spay and neuter efforts in under-resourced communities both here and in Puerto Rico where thousands of animals each year are born into a cruel world where their suffering begins at a young age and for many, goes on a lifetime. Â Â
For each $50 donation an individual makes, you will be entered in a pool to win one of two prizes as soon as we reach our fundraising goal of $8,500:
