Ramadan is for fasting, not starving. It sounds simple enough, but in fact, many children end up starving during Ramadan, instead of fasting. That's not ok.
NuDay Syria helps displaced families in Idlib as well as in isolated locations with starving and hungry children and women. For Ramadan, it is IFTAAR FOOD BASKETS and IFTAAR MEALS - and with your help, many will get a meal upon breaking their fast.
Iftaar meals are cooked and distributed in areas where there are few options for families to cook on their own. Meals are a dire need and for just $25 you can ensure one fasting person gets a meal for one whole week. That's $100 for a month of a warm, daily meal.
Food basket has an estimated value of $75 and will have enough basic staples to last a family of four several weeks, if not the whole month. Each basket has dried beans, lentil, rice, some jam, and also dates and a few other things. This food basket gets distributed to families with access to a cooking outlet and is much appreciated.
NuDay Syria is focused on mothers and children. The families we help have no male breadwinner and desperately need us to care.
