Raven Deas

What if you were living on borrowed time? I am and I’d like to live(r) a little longer.

My name is Raven and I’m in need of a liver transplant.

I’ve been sick for as long as I can remember; suffering from a combination of Crohn’s disease, a rare blood disease known as Sickle Cell, and an even rarer liver disease named Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. I’ve always had liver issues but I didn’t receive an official diagnosis until the end of 2019. My condition has gotten progressively worse over the years and I’m now suffering from liver failure. I’m only 29. A liver transplant is now critical for me to have a second chance at life.

Unfortunately, my hope for a new life comes at a very high price emotionally, physically, and financially.

The guilt before and after being transplanted along with an intense recovery is already a challenge by itself. The average liver transplant costs approximately $878,000. Even with insurance, which will cover the cost of the transplant, I still face significant expenses related to the surgery such as follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications that I’ll be taking the rest of my second life.

You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to the National Foundation for Transplants in honor of Raven. Even if you can’t donate, you can follow my journey on Tiktok (@itsraaaaebae). Thank you!

If you'd prefer to send your gift by mail, please send it to the National Foundation for Transplants, 3249 W. Sarazen’s Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125.  Please be sure to write "in honor of Raven Deas” in the memo line.

Thank you for your generosity!
