Maximus' Life Was at Risk

Maximus is a handsome 2 year old Golden Retriever who was living with a family he loved. Sadly, he was surrendered to a rural shelter for his own safety. The family's neighbor had several dogs that posed a serious threat to Maximus. This sweet boy is just too special and friendly, and deserves to live a life where he isn't in danger of neighbor dogs potentially attacking and hurting him. However, Maximus never thought that the neighbor's poor control over their dogs would mean that he would end up homeless. Now, Maximus spends his days in a cold cement kennel in the rural Virginia shelter. Golden Retrievers make the most loving family pets and Maximus is no exception.
