West Is Begging for a Flight Out of Danger

West is waiting very patiently to get out of Puerto Rico.  She's been living at a shelter with her buddy North, but she's had no one interested in adopting her.  Unfortunately, without getting a flight to Homeward Trails, it is very unlikely anyone will come forward to rescue her.  West has lived as a street dog for her whole life and after beating all odds and surviving, she deserves happiness and a stable life.  It is not easy to be constantly on the search for food and water, dodge moving cars and avoid awful people who may try to abuse or poison her.  Even though her life has been so unstable, she loves people and is ready to start a new life!  Homeward Trails cannot get her to a foster home in the DC area without your help.  Flights are limited and expensive, and veterinary care for a dog that has never seen a vet can also come at a steep price.  Please donate to West's rescue today!
