Siblings Only Have Each Other

Ret and Sierra are adorable 2 year old chihuahua mixes who were surrendered by their owner to a rural VA shelter. These sweet pups are so confused. They went from a home where they were comfortable and cared for, to living in a scary shelter. While they have each other, they are very nervous and desperately need someone to come and save them. The shelter staff try their best to keep their spirits up, but Ret and Sierra have to endure loud barking and strangers walking by day in and day out in the shelter. Homeward Trails doesn't want these two to be forgotten. They can both be on the next ride up to a DC area foster this week, but only if their rescues are funded.
