CAPITAL CUP ISN'T ABOUT GOLF, IT'S ABOUT GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY.
I am happy to announce this will be my ninth year participating as a fundraising player in the annual Capital Cup tournament and fundraiser. Yes, it’s allot of work, and yes, it’s worth it knowing it’s all for a great cause.
This year I have chosen to support Bayside Church’s Serve Day. Serve Day is when Bayside shuts down all its weekend services to unleash thousands of volunteers throughout Sacramento to give back to the community, connect with neighbors and show God’s love. Baysiders will be renovating, cleaning, painting, and fixing up schools, parks, recreation facilities and non-profits. And since the players pay a participation fee covering all their administrative and operating costs, 100 percent of your contribution goes directly toward this effort.
As a member of Bayside for over 20 years, I’ve seen first-hand how the Church is committed to meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our community and many parts of the world. I believe you will agree with me that in today’s divisive world, we need many more of these types of bridge-building activities. I hope you can join me in my efforts to empower their work.
Thank you, Rick
