Hi! I was fortunate to have been born into a South Side Irish police family 🍀. I loved being the son, grandson, great-grandson, nephew & cousin to Chicago Police Officers & Firemen. Growing up listening to police stories in the backyard was my favorite pastime. Unfortunately, those good times were often offset with a sense of fear as well. Fear that my dad or an uncle or a cousin may not make it home. Luckily for me, family tragedy never happened.
After college I landed my dream job as a DEA Agent. The work took me all over the States & to far off places in Mexico, Central America & the Caribbean, as well as several countries in Europe, Africa, and the Far East. It was a great adventure but also came with heartache: many DEA colleagues died in the line of duty during my career at the agency.
And that’s WHY I Ride! To remember our fallen heroes and to help serve & support their survivors. This summer I’ll be joining some 85 other police riders & survivors cycling across Illinois raising funds to support Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).
I’d like to ask for your support and hope you will consider donating to this noble cause. Thank you in advance and stay safe out there!
