Rita Survived Shootings

It's tough to even think about what Rita has been through. She's only 7 months old and was nearly killed -- through no fault of her own. Rita was found as a stray in a neighborhood in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. People in the neighborhood were shooting at her until, thankfully, a good Samaritan called a rescue. Rita has been removed from that dangerous situation, but she's not yet out of the woods. Shelters in her area are overrun with stray dogs, and demand can't keep up. For Rita to find a loving home and avoid euthanasia, we have to get her on a ride to Northern Virginia. Can you help us raise the needed funds?
