The Riverfront Jazz Festival began in 2003 and is
held annually on Labor Day Weekend in Stevens Point's Pfiffner Pioneer Park.
The Festival brings the Central Wisconsin region together for free live jazz and community annually on Labor Day. The Festival's mission is to feature local jazz musicians and nationally renowned artists, boost tourism, and provide a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
In its first year, the festival attracted nearly 2,000 attendees. The festival has continued to grow, now welcoming an estimated 5,000 or more attendees each Labor Day Saturday and Sunday.
