Stevie Needs Emergency Dental Work

Stevie's life was turned upside-down when her dad passed away, and now her health is in a critical state.

Stevie has to have an emergency dental for sores in her mouth and to remove five teeth. Due to pain and stress, she isn’t eating, either, and is currently staying at the vet for observation and care.

Why the initial stress? Stevie just suffered a life-changing event. Her dad had a soft spot for cats. Any that found their way to his home was taken in and cared for. Sadly, her dad suffered an accidental traumatic brain injury at work and did not make it.

Family friends stepped in, traveling almost two hours to stop by and care for his cats until they contacted us. Homeward Trails stepped in to rescue all of his loving cats that were sadly left without their dad unexpectedly in this traumatic turn of events.

Now in our care, Stevie is having a hard time adjusting, and we found unexpected dental issues. We are hoping to get her out of pain and eating again. The dental procedure will help greatly, but we need the funds to make it happen.
