Give to the Max Day - or the Great Minnesota Give Together - is a chance for supporters of the Givens' Foundation mission to reach out and share their support for our work. We need all our great community advocates to take a few minutes to spread the word, and join our effort to introduce the work of the Givens' Foundation to people who will love what we do, but just haven't learned yet how they can be a critical part of supporting Black writers, learning, and literature.
I serve on the board of directors at Givens because I know how important this work is to our future.
