We are raising $25,000 in 5 days to celebrate Windcall's 25th Anniversary and its work supporting resilient organizers and movements.

$500 goal

If you've been organizing for years, you can reach a moment when stepping back from the work can be the VERY best thing you can do for it. I was one of those organizers in 2011, when I was awarded a Windcall Residency. It was an amazing and transformative experience for me that I think every organizer should have.

I’m writing to ask you to join me in supporting and celebrating Windcall’s 25th Anniversary. My goal is to raise $500 by Friday, October 3, 7pm EST. We have a matching gift to get us off to a flying start. If you give today, your gift will doubled so I hope you will be as generous as you can.

Windcall is a movement treasure, dedicated to giving organizers space to renew, reflect and come back to their movements stronger than ever.

When I went to Windcall, I was in the middle of some challenging work around racial healing and equity. Away for 4 weeks from this work, deep in nature with a handful of other organizers, I got back to a practice that helped me:

1. Realize that hope carries me forward as I work on getting my internal healing more fucus;

2. Learn that hope was necessary to stay strong and resilient as an organizer long past my Residency;

3. Come to understand that movements are only as good as the resiliency and the vision of those within them.

Your donation will provide Residencies for organizers to benefit as I did. Your donation this week will determine how many organizers have Residencies in this next cycle and support Windcall spreading resiliency practices to organizations on the frontlines.

Please give generously today and double your gift.

Thank you!
