Rosco is searching for his forever family

Roscoe was recently surrendered to a rural shelter because his owners said they were allergic. But once the shelter staff started his intake exam, they realized his back leg had popped out of the socket. After getting x-rays, the vet believed he was likely hit by a car and that was the reason he was surrendered. The shelter was able to get a grant to have reconstructive surgery (an FHO) performed and he's started the road to recovery. There's just one problem - Roscoe likes to chase cars. That's likely what got him into this situation. But dogs in the shelter's community are largely indoor/outdoor and kept off leash without fenced yards. We're worried he'll get hit by another car if the right home isn't found for him. Luckily, we're sure we can find just that home. But first we need your help to bring him to Homeward Trails.
