Healing Land & People 2022

          North Central Ohio Land Conservancy, Inc. continues removing invasive species from our local nature preserves.  The tornado and high winds that struck central Ohio on June 14, 2022 ‘walked’ along much of our trail through the Clearfork valley and made our job tougher than ever.  

          Our crew and volunteers have opened most of the trail.  Our hired crew consists of felons deemed unemployable by others, but they have become valuable invasive plant removal specialists for us.  They are skilled at their jobs and now enjoy the opportunity to speak to hikers and show the native plants they protect.  

          It is the generosity of donors, LIKE YOU, that enables us to help people heal themselves as they heal the land by ridding it of invasive species.  We thank you, our donors, for making this work possible.  

          Our goal is to continue to help recovering addicts and felons grow in their knowledge and confidence, especially through the help of our dedicated volunteers.   In turn, our permanently protected nature preserves will offer beautiful hiking trails and will better serve as living museums of Ohio’s native plants.  Thank you for continuing to support us!
