OWF Student Ambassador's Holiday Scholarship

Open Wide Foundation announced in 2017 the creation of the Youth Scholarship Program to award scholarship to students attending university with the intent of entering the dental field.

Iriff Ulep and Dominique Chagniot, dental students at the University of Southern California, were selected as the first 2 Open Wide Foundation Student Scholarship recipients, by the Youth Programs Ambassador Ryan Guggenheim.  After the trip ,they were nominated to join Ryan as Open Wide Foundation Youth Ambassadors to expand outreach to students.

Part of the expansion goal of this program is to raise the funding for the next scholarship.  Dental Volunteer Trip Youth Scholarships are for an expenses paid dental outreach trip for four clinical days of service in a permanent dental clinic in Guatemala that is fully stocked and equipped. The recipient works with the local dental team, local university dental residents and other dental volunteers.
