We can do more together.

Sadly, due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Help a Mother Out (HAMO) had to cancel its Annual Tea (scheduled for April 25th). As a small but mighty organization, this cancellation is a very big deal to their bottom line

They need our help: Please join me in supporting this amazing organization to ensure more families won’t have to go without diapers during this uncertain time.

Not only does HAMO need to ensure that they can continue to provide regularly scheduled diapers to their partner organizations and  clients, but they are also  working to meet the increased needs of the Bay Area community during this unprecedented situation. The families that they serve are disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus crisis. Diaper demand has already surged more than 500%. They need our help now more than ever before.

HAMO was started during the 2008 financial crisis, and so they know the power of this community coming together during the tough times. Thanks for joining me in helping to ensure that all babies have access to a clean supply of diapers, today and every day.

Because Every Baby Deserves a Clean Diaper.®

Help a Mother Out® works to improve baby and family well being by increasing access to diapers for families in need.

They distribute diapers to families in need through a network of social service partners including voluntary home visiting programs, facilitated parent support groups, family resource centers, and public health departments. They also advocate for the inclusion of diapers in the social safety net.

Their vision is a day when every baby has a healthy supply of diapers.

Help a Mother Out® has provided over 14 million diapers since 2009. They serve families through a network of community partners, and their diaper program has become an integral part of their services:

  • 89% of participating social workers report that the diaper program significantly affects their program’s capacity to serve and sustain clients
  • 83% noted that without the diapers, their programs would not be able to serve clients as effectively.
  • 84% say that the diapers help lower anxiety, fatigue or financial stress among their clients.
  • 72% report that the diapers help them build trust with clients.
