Homeless Hound Deserves a New Life

Ruby Rose's story is an all too familiar one - she was discarded and found living as a stray in rural Virginia. The shelter thought for sure it must have been an accident that she'd gotten away from her family, but no one came to claim her. So she spends every day in a crowded shelter, competing with other hounds for adopters. And to make matters worse, she needs a dental and badly. That's a big obstacle to her finding a forever home with someone who will take on that cost. It's also been hard for the shelter to find other rescues to take her and afford the dental.
