The team has found 6 acres of land for sale at the lowest price we have seen in these past several years of looking for land. The land is located about 20 minutes from our current church location, and it is more accessible to those who drive longer distances to church every week. Since we started saving for land at the beginning of 2017, our church members, several churches, and individual donors have together raised $150,000. We need approximately $320,000 to purchase this piece of land.  We have until the end of November to raise the remaining $170,000 needed. Would you consider giving to this tremendous cause, and would you also pray with us as we pray and trust that God will provide this great need?

Our Story

Our missionary team arrived in Bangkok, Thailand on April 30th, 2008.  We began our ministries in a rented building in the city of Pathum Thani, just north of Bangkok.  We soon outgrew that facility and began searching for a more suitable location.

We found a two-acre piece of land with an empty house that had been abandoned for many years.  When we inquired about the land, we learned from the locals that no one would live there because they believed it was haunted by the spirits of two people who had died in the house.  Animism, the worship of ancestral spirits, is very widespread in Thailand.  In fact, most of the population practice a confusing mix of Animism and Buddhism.   Everyone in that local area was afraid to step foot on the property.

What a perfect location for a church!  What a wonderful opportunity to show the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit in that dark place!  We were able to rent that piece of land and expand the church and English language school.  From 2008 to 2011, the Lord continued to bless.  Thousands of lost souls were reached with the gospel and another church plant was soon opened.

In October of 2011, Thailand experienced its worst flooding in over 120 years.  Our missionary families evacuated to the city of Hua Hin, just south of the central flood plains.  Our homes and churches were inundated with filthy sewage water, dangerous chemicals from flooded industrial areas.  Many church members were forced to relocate due to the unhealthy living conditions caused by stagnant flood waters.

In 2012 the Thailand Team permanently relocated to Hua Hin and started a church in a storefront building.  Today the team rents six storefront buildings to house the ministries of this growing work.  The church is currently filled to capacity each week and the need for space is evident.

The hope and vision, after 11 years of full-time service in Thailand, is for this thriving ministry to finally purchase a piece of land.   This will allow us to build a church auditorium, school facilities, Bible institute, orphanage, and staff housing.   This is indeed the devil’s stronghold, and it is my desire to establish a permanent foothold in this idolatrous region of the 10-40 window from which the light of the gospel can emanate for generations to come.  Please pray for this great need and consider how you can be a part.  Your investment will reap an eternal reward.
