SHE NAILED IT

Habitat for Humanity, is an international not-for-profit organization that believes everyone should have a home.  They commit human resources to building homes for people who otherwise would not be able to secure a home.  Those who are eligible for homes must do a LOT of sweat equity and pay for the home based on their income level.  Each year there is a ‘Women’s Build.” This construction is done by women to builf a home for a family. To raise funds for the Women’s Build, a fundraiser called “She Nailed It” is planned.  This year it is scheduled for: Homewood Suites by Hilton Allentown, Bethlehem Center Valley from 4:00 to 7:00 on May 4. Dinner is free to team participants and friends/guests can buy a ticket to come watch the competition. My team consists of 4 women who are hoping to raise $1500. Each team hammers 4 nails (one each) into a 2X4.  It is timed and prizes are awarded to the team who nails the fastest.  What a fun way to raise money for the Women’s Build!
