Sweet Sadie needs a safe home!

Sadie is the cutest doodle puppy looking for a new home! This adorable 4 month old was living in rural VA and loving life, until she found herself one day at a shelter. She waited for her owner to come back, missing her old family everyday, until slowly she began to realize that the shelter was her new home. Sadie’s owner had surrendered her, as she was not able to keep her safe living near a major busy road where Sadie could be hurt or worse. Shelters are not good homes for puppies, and Sadie is no different. Sadie was surrounded by unfamiliar sounds and smells, as well as bigger and sometimes unfriendly other dogs. Additionally, puppies have underdeveloped immune systems compared to adult dogs, as they are still growing, and they are at a higher risk of contracting infections and viruses that might not affect other dogs. We want to make sure that Sadie is out of the shelter where she can have the safety she deserves as a puppy while we find her a forever home where she will not have to experience being surrendered again! Rural shelters have lower foot traffic as well, and we want to make sure this adorable girl isn’t passed up! We know she will bring so much love to her future family, and we want to help make sure she finds the best home possible. Please help us help Sadie!
