Meet Our Star Sally Singley!

Sally Singley and her husband, Tom, moved to New Braunfels in 1995. It was the charm of this beautiful community that beckoned them to settle here 25 years ago.  Sally and Tom are proud grandparents of Austin Jacob 24, Anna Sophia 15, and Lauren Elise 12. Sally is an insurance agent and loves working for Barnard Donegan Insurance, where she’s been employed for the last 21 years.  

Sally grew up in the Valley where music and dance is a vital part of the colorful and vibrant culture. As a child, she danced in traditional folk dances on holidays and at various celebrations. Her love of dancing continued to grow and in 5th grade she began formal training in ballet and jazz. Sally studied dance all through high school and college. While in college, she belonged to a Folklorico Troupe and performed at various events and also competed against other college Folklorico troupes.  She had a dream that one day she would either own a dance studio or travel the world as a professional dancer. Life, however, had other plans for Sally. She married, had a child, and dance took a back seat…. UNTIL NOW!!!  This will be Sally’s first performance in many years.

Sally is beyond excited to have the opportunity to perform on “Dancing with the Stars NB”.  She realizes that each day is a gift and is grateful for her good health. Sally says that every morning when she wakes up she tells herself: “I'll never be as young as I am today. Today is the youngest day of the rest of my life. Get up and do something fun!” Sally is dancing for CYT and Steve's Pantry.
