Here in Lemhi County, Idaho, we believe that great races deserve great trails.
That's why Salmon Challis Trails has partnered with the Beaverhead Endurance Run and a generous local foundation to advocate and fundraise for trail work.
Over the years, our Trail Stewardship projects have resulted in over 2,000 miles of Central Idaho trails maintained, improved, and built, with a diversity of trail user perspectives involved in planning and project design. Without these efforts to protect, maintain, and advocate for our local trails, valuable recreational access would be at great risk.
We'd like to raise $10,000 this year toward local Trail Stewardship work! For every $1 we raise from our trail running community, an additional $3 in grant funds will match it!
Your donation will support Salmon Challis Trails' on-the-ground Trail Stewardship projects. In 2022, we're planning a 2-Day Trail Stewardship volunteer event along the Continental Divide Trail, engaging trail users and advocates to work together on a 5-mile segment of trail that could use some extra TLC. We'll also be working to develop a local Trail Tool Cache, which will support the efforts of our hardworking trail work volunteers for many seasons to come!
We hope you consider donating! Please give today, and help us spread the word about this fundraising effort!
