Sammy Girl Has Already Been Forgotten Once

Four year old Sammy Girl was found wandering completely alone in a rural part of Georgia, with no familiar face to comfort her and no idea where she belonged. This sweet Terrier/Lab mix waited for someone to come looking for her, but no one ever did. No family called. No one showed up to bring her home. Now Sammy Girl  is sitting homeless and unwanted, through absolutely no fault of her own, waiting for someone to prove that her life matters. Homeward Trails wants to save Sammy Girl and bring her to safety, where she can finally have a warm bed, a loving foster home, and the chance to belong to someone again. But we need donations and sponsors to make that possible. Sammy Girl has already learned what it feels like to be abandoned and forgotten. Please help us make sure that isn’t how her story ends.
