SWWIM With Me On Give Miami Day 2025

As an older writer, I feel a special appreciation for the founders of SWWIM, who demonstrate inclusivity at every level. Through SWWIM, I have come to feel a part of a broad literary community, ranging from lesser-known poets to many with national reputations for excellence, including a Poet Laureate of the United States. The editors lift everyone up in equal measure, and they do so in a variety of ways. I especially enjoy their ongoing social media shout-outs acknowledging the accomplishments of contributors—a brilliant way to encourage contributors at every stage of their writing careers.
