Found alone and scared, black lab needs your help

Cole was found alone and scared on the streets of southern Virginia. He has warm brown eyes and a beautiful black coat but that would not have been enough for him to survive the winter cold much longer. It is a miracle he was found before the storm. While homeless, Cole would have struggled to find proper food and warm places to protect himself from the elements. He risked disease without access to medical care. 

We have him warm and safe now but what he needs is someone to care for him throughout his life. He is a loving dog who loves to go on walks and is well leash trained. He has a lot of love to give and would make a great companion to any person or family. In order to get him into the perfect home we need your help.
