Dewey Needs Life Saving Heartworm Treatment

Dewey is a super sweet 1.5 year old hound mix who was found as a stray in rural VA. He was so thankful to be found and brought into a shelter, where he now receives daily meals and has a roof over his head. Sadly though, Dewey isn't totally out of the woods as he has heartworms and is in desperate need of treatment. The shelter isn't able to afford the treatment, which means that Dewey's heath will drastically decline. Homeward Trails is hoping to be Dewey's lifeline.
