Surrendered sick and alone

The beautiful 2 year old border collie has the sweetest face and the most beautiful black coat. He was surrendered by his owner when they found that he had heartworm positive. It is not Skye’s fault that he is sick and yet he was left at the shelter, missing his owner. All any dog wants is a family where they can be loved and cared for and they give that love back endlessly. We knew that once he is at homeward trails we can get him healthy and find him the forever home he deserves. 

Heartworms left untreated can be deadly. Fortunately he surrendered in time where he can be treated and live the long, healthy life he deserves but we need your help to make sure that happens. This sweet boy has been through too much for his story to end here. Please help him get better so he can find a loving home that will make sure he can thrive.
