Puppy wandering alone as stray

Growing up is hard, but it is even harder when you’re a puppy living as a stray. This absolutely adorable lab mix is 7 months old and full of life despite his circumstances, and was named Spur! He was found wandering alone outside, a testament to how resilient he is. Spur lived the life of a stray, searching alone for food, water and shelter on a daily basis, and came out of it in one piece! That is tough stuff! But all puppies deserve to be young for a little while, and we want to make sure that Spur still has some time to play and enjoy being a puppy while he still is. We want to get Spur to Homeward Trails, where it is safer and healthier for puppies than the shelter, where they are at higher risk than other dogs of contracting viruses and infections. We also can help expose him to more potential families than the average shelter, where slower foot traffic might mean that this adorable boy is passed up.
