Sunshine has Suffered a Lot of Hardships

Sweet Sunshine is an adorable 10 month old Aussie mix. She is so loving and fun, but sadly has been surrendered by her owner to a rural VA shelter. Sunshine hasn't had an easy life. When she was a mere 4 months old, she suffered a very severe break in her leg and it had to be amputated. This precious tripod is able to get around wonderfully, but unfortunately her owner lost her home so Sunshine was given up and now spends her time sitting in a cage. Homeward Trails doesn't want Sunshine to face any more difficulties in life and would love to transport her to a DC area foster.
