“If man is to recover his sanity and spiritual balance, there must be a renewal of communion between the traditional, contemplative disciplines and those of science, between the poet and the physicist, the priest and the … psychologist, the monk and the politician.”  - Thomas Merton

Spirit and Science Together
Reviving the Breath of Life on Earth

A collaboration among practitioners of science and faith to return our life-support systems to health, balance and abundance.

Your donation supports our work to inspire Earth stewardship and promote worldwide ecosystem restoration among people answering the call of resilience.

Funds raised are shared equally between Spirit of Resilience and Biodiversity for a Livable Climate.

Bio4Climate will use this funding to expand social media capabilities and the reach of our growing and extensive free resources, including over 250 presentations  by speakers around the world and our Compendium of scientific research supporting eco-restoration to address destruction of Nature and climate.  A new Speaker Series will be recorded and circulated nationally by the WGBH Forum Network.

Spirit of Resilience will use these funds to build capacity for a Spirit of Resilience Radio tour, that centers the voices and wisdom of frontline communities, and Black and Indigenous Earthkeepers. Spirit of Resilience will also amplify on-the-ground projects led by Indigenous farming communities and cooperatives.

Inspiration heals generational wounds to land and people. Education guides ecosystem repair. Outreach expands these efforts beyond those who already work with Nature to heal herself.  That's why, as Black and Indigenous Earthkeepers partner with science activists for this campaign, we are asking you to join us in growing the ways we work together.

Help strengthen connected communities that love and revere the natural world, and manifest a just, bountiful and peaceful future for all!

The coronavirus  pandemic.  The racism pandemic.  Global warming. Suffering and dislocation of billions of people. Oil pipelines on sacred land. Unprecedented widespread wildfires, floods, droughts, extreme heat. Mass extinctions of thousands of  species. Redlining and dirty incinerators in poor, predominantly Black and Brown communities. Unclean water in neighborhoods long forgotten and neglected. The voices of frontline communities and Earthkeepers disrespected, erased and cut out of conversations and policy around climate and environmental justice.

All of these dire problems have basic root causes:  Separation of spiritual from material life, and massive destruction of living systems.

And here's the great news:  Nature has the answers.  Nature knows how to fix this. Nature is just waiting for us to join her in restoring billions of acres of degraded landscapes around the world, turn them green and abundant again to benefit all species.   Nature has the answers that we need in order to breathe again.  Please join us!
