In the Ozarks 1 out of every 5 children and 1 out of every 6 adults are food insecure, meaning they do not know where their next meal will come from or when it will come.
I don’t know about you, but the thought of my neighbors having to choose between paying bills or putting food on the table doesn’t sit well with me.
My husband, Tony, and I have been long-time supporters of Ozarks Food Harvest. This year, we know rising food costs will put a strain on many Springfield families making it important for us to do more to help hardworking families facing hunger.
