Seeding Equity

Seeding Equity promotes equity in the performing arts by providing theater technology training and access to performing arts events for students from historically marginalized communities. Our mission is to empower these students to pursue careers in theater while also promoting audience development and building bridges between diverse communities and the performing arts.

We are working on creating a network of performing arts organizations, schools, and community groups to streamline efforts to transform empty seats at performances into potentially life-changing opportunities for students who would not otherwise have access to the arts. 

We are also developing a program to provide hands-on experiences with theater technology while providing information about the various careers available in the performing arts.
