To whom ever it may concern

Not being able to finish my undergraduate degree in 4 years was first a curse in my eyes, but now I realize that it was a blessing in disguise. As I learn more and more about God’s love for me through my time here in Davis, I realize that I was blind to the vast power and sovereignty of God. I am PERFECTLY where I need to be. As I grow more, opportunities in which I can spread God’s love present themselves to me. One of those opportunities is the mission trip to Yangsan, Korea.

From July 17th to August 6th, a team will be in Yangsan, Korea to assist in Vacation Bible School for the youth during the day and an English camp during the night for adults. More than anything, I believe mission work should show God’s love rather than information about God/Jesus/Gospel. I have experience with VBS through last year's mission to Tuba City, AZ. I was part of a team of 8, but this year, not only will I be a part of this team, but I will be the leader of a team of 7 members whos heart is willing to serve the Lord.

My goal is to show God’s love to the people of Korea and effectively lead the team into spirit lead works. I ask for prayer that I will act in spirit and not in flesh.

Of course support for any mission is very important. That is why I am asking for both financial and spiritual support. I ask that you pray for not only me but the mission team as well, that we may become one body and united through our hearts for Korea mission. I understand that if it’s God’s will, then the financial aspect of the mission should not be worried about, but that doesn’t mean we are not called into action.

Please donate as much money as the spirit leads you to. I will have to raise a total of $2000 but I will need $1000 through support from family and friends. Any amount you decide to give is GREATLY appreciated!!

I am expecting to learn a lot about myself as I continue to stretch myself for the sake of the kingdom. Thank you for taking time to read my letter and I ask that you support me in any way that you can. Prayer is just as important, if not more than, financial support! I love you all so much!
