Serafina, the most beautiful dog on the island, has had a rough life so far. We believe she is a doberman mix and has the most striking markings. She has been a stray living in Puerto Rico, found in Lajas, having had multiple litters in her short life already. She is around 3 years old and the woman who had been keeping an eye on her and would feed her occasionally decided to get Serafina to a rescue. By the time she was able to arrange this, Serafina had had two more puppies, Sancho and Simone. They are about 3 months old and are sweet but understandably shy. We can't wait to bring them to DC to help them find their forever homes.

Gone are the days of her having to search for food and shelter, dodging cars, and avoiding the few humans who view the strays as pests and will meet them with violence. Those days are in their past but their journey isn't over yet. We need to raise enough funds to fly them over to DC where they can begin their search for new homes with Homeward Trails. With your support, we can ensure these dogs will never go hungry again.
