We achieve these changes through educational programs that increase family members’ communication skills and decrease risky behaviors, assisting families in crisis, serving as advocates for Latino families, and supporting other organizations who wish to serve Latinos in a culturally competent manner.  Wonderful things can be achieved through education and collaboration.  

In addition to all our educational and mental health resources that we offer, during these difficult times, your partnership allows Ser Familia to meet numerous emergency needs. Each dollar represents a ray of hope. It makes the difference between a family going hungry or fed. It can be the difference between having electricity or living in the dark. It can mean the difference between a child having a roof over their heads or sleeping in the open.

Each $50 dollars allows a Latino youth to attend a workshop that will equipped him/her with the necessary communication tools to better his/her relationships at home and at school.  Each $100 will cover a therapy session for an individual in a mental health crisis before is too late.  Each $25 will provide a warm meal for a family of four.  Every dollar counts, and we need your help!
