The more I learn about the hurdles facing the almost 1000 foster youth in San Francisco, the harder it is for me to grapple with how different their childhoods are from the one I had. Please consider donating to help San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates (SF CASA) transform the lives of abused and neglected foster youth.
SF CASA is a nonprofit that trains and matches volunteer advocates with foster children and youth. These volunteers work to address each individual youth's needs in the court and community, and commit to building long-term relationships that the foster youth can depend on.
SF CASA Mission: San Francisco CASA transforms the lives of abused and neglected foster youth by providing one consistent, caring volunteer advocate, trained to address each child’s needs in the court and the community.
SF CASA Vision: That every child has a safe and loving home and is given the opportunity to thrive.
Please read more about SF CASA on their website if you'd like to learn more about their model and impact: https://www.sfcasa.org/info/
