Jewish Teen Foundation- Melanie Spitzberg

Hi, my name is Melanie Spitzberg. This year I joined the Jewish Teen Foundation, a program with the goal of providing an organization of our choice with a donation that will improve the community. This year, we program officers believed that the mental health of teens was an area that required our attention. Poor teenage mental health is a growing issue due to the ongoing pandemic, which has exacerbated the problem mainly because of the stress and isolation of online school. Many teens lack the resources to better their poor mental health and the education needed to understand how to handle it.  By raising money, we strive to not only help teens improve their mental health but to also spread awareness of teen mental health problems.
