Welcome to Giving Tuesday! Each year School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County devotes the proceeds of its Giving Tuesday fundraiser to helping patients obtain small health care items that are not covered by insurance. School Health Clinics serves low income patients of all ages - not just children and adolescents - and older adults frequently have the most health challenges and the fewest financial resources. Your support will help them access items that improve their health, like:
Shower chairs for patients at high risk of falling
Blood pressure cuffs for patients with hypertension
Glucose monitoring kits for patients with diabetes
Lab fees
Canes and walkers
These are small things - most cost less than $50, but what a difference they make!
